RESEARCH FIELDS
Industrial Organization, Public Economics.
My research aims at considering both the positive and the normative aspects of economic problems.
From Industrial Organization, I have taken the importance of looking at the details. From Public Economics, I have taken the limits of competitive markets in presence of imperfect competition and/or externalities. This yield me to revisit standard economic problems, taking into account the specificities of the industries I consider and the heterogeneity of economics agents at hand to look, among others, at the redistributive effects of economic mechanisms.
Whenever possible, I like to look both at the theory and its application.
